YU SciFi does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.
Nothing. The entire book catalogue ships inside the app and is read from files bundled with it. The app does not create a user profile, does not save your browsing or search history, and has no server of its own to send anything to.
Searching within the app runs entirely on your device against the bundled catalogue. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Each book has links that look it up on external websites. Opening one hands the search over to that site inside Safari, and from that point you are on their service, under their privacy policy — not this one. The sites are:
These pages open in Safari View Controller, which uses Safari's own cookies and website data. That means a site may recognise you if you are already signed in to it in Safari. YU SciFi cannot read that data — the browser runs separately from the app.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
